Interact Club

Interact Club:

“If you would not like to be forgotten, either write things worth reading or do things worth writing.”

The aim of the Interact Club is to instill this feeling in the young minds and hearts. It also tries to tell that a kind gesture can create wonders and a lot of difference in the lives of the deprived.

It compels us to think what actually life is, and provides the answer that if you live life for yourself it is useless, but if you live for others it is fruitfull.

It came into existence in Rajhans Vidyalaya in the year 2003 with the efforts of our beloved Principal Mrs. D. S. Srivastava who is an esteemed and respectable member of The Rotary Club. She was instrumental in establishing the Interact Club in the school.

The Club comprises of students from Std. VII to Std. IX in the Secondary section, who are assigned various activities and given opportunities to interact with the students of other schools. They undertake various social service activities like collecting books, clothes, donation. They visit old age centres, orphanages, etc. and share many things with them.

Induction of Interact Club members was held on 20th July, 2017 in the presence of Chief Guest – Rtn. Dr. Manish Motwani, President – Rotary Club, Juhu – Ms. Sumana and Principal Mrs. Deepshikha Srivastava.

The outgoing President – Anushree Wagh gave a speech encompassing her journey of leaning and involvement in social causes, which helped her to imbibe traits of a good citizen. She welcomed the New President – Divya Gupta and handed over the charter and collar.

Divya’s speech was infused with zest and enthusiasm to carry out the activities of the club. She introduced the new board members. Induction of board members was done by the esteemed guests.

Shivam Potagevan – Vice President gave a befitting introduction about the honourable Chief Guest. Dr. Manish Motwani gave an inspiring and encouraging speech.

Vote of thanks was given by Anjana – Treasurer. This was followed by the National Anthem.

Rajhans Vidyalaya in association with the Rotary Club of Mumbai, Juhu, took an initiative to help Pratibha Vidyamandir at Vasai to build a toilet block for the girl students.

A result of its efforts were seen after a year when the block was finally inaugurated on 19th August, 2017 in the school premises and also e-learning equipment were provided in two classrooms. The students of the school showcased various cultural events.

Rajhans Vidyalaya through its various social programmes like Anand Mela, Dandia Night, Smile-A-Thon etc., collects funds for social causes. These funds are used towards the welfare of the society. One initiative of such a kind was adopting Pratibha Vidyamandir and providing various facilities in its premises.
